2 green or yellow 12mm safety cat eyes

1 pink or black 12mm safety nose

Worsted weight yarn

Stuffing


*Piece should be crocheted in a continuous round (in a spiral)

*This cat is designed to sit on top of something with legs hanging down.

*Use several colors to get desired markings


Head:

Chain 4, slip stitch in 1st ch to form ring

    Cut yarn, leaving a long tail. Using a tapestry needle, whip stitch around the edges of the ears. Sew to head.


Tail:

Ch 3, sl st in furthest ch from hook to form ring

Sc 7 times through center of ring

Row 1 - 3: sc around (7)

Row 4: 3sc, sc, sc3tog, sc, sc (7)

Row 5: sc, 3sc, sc, sc3tog, sc (7)

Row 6 - 11: sc around (7)

    Stuff tail for a fat tail, leave empty for a skinny tail. Sew to body.


Front Legs:

Ch 3, sl st in furthest ch from hook to form ring

Sc 7 times through center of ring

Row 1-8: sc around (7)

    Do not stuff legs. Sew to underside of cat.


Back Legs:

Ch 3, sl st in furthest ch from hook to form ring

Sc 7 times through center of ring

Row 1 - 5: sc around (7)

Row 6: 3sc, sc, sc, sc2tog, sc, sc (8)

Row 7: sc, 2sc, sc 3x, 2sc, sc, sc (10)

Row 8 - 9: sc around (10)

Row 10: sc 3 times, sl st to join

    Cut yarn. Stuff leg lightly. Sew to body.
